As a local Cooperative, we know how important it is that we dedicate our resources to help those in the communities we serve. Our team has
dedicated hundreds of hours over the last year volunteering their time and talents to local charities and events.
Our 13th annual Filling the Dreams event supported the Special Olympics of Wisconsin where more than 20 team members and numerous community groups volunteered their time for an entire day to sell brats, pump fuel, and clean windows for customers. This resulted in more than $11,000 raised to support programs for the athletes.
We also continue to support the Boy Scout organization at events like the Chippewa Valley Air Show. This year we hosted a VIP event where
Special Olympians, their families, and coaches had an opportunity to watch a full practice the day before the official start of the Air Show.
Our team served Erbert & Gerbert’s sandwiches, beverages, and chips to over 300 people under the President’s Club tent where pilots stopped by to sign autographs.
I’m so very proud of our team and our company for the many contributions of time and money they have made over the last year to support the Cooperative and the communities we serve.

Convenience Store News
It’s been a great, busy, and very exciting summer here at Mega! CO-OP as we continue to focus on our mission to be the best place to work,
shop, and belong. One of Operation’s largest and most thrilling initiatives throughout the last several months was to be part of our newest store acquisition.
We were able to plan for and bring aboard the team for our 34th location – Lake Wissota Travel Stop. This store, along with the team
members, did an exceptional job transitioning into the Mega! CO-OP family. Store Manager Mike Punzenberger (pictured right) has taken such pride and ownership of his store and helping team members through the conversion.
Jeff Julson, Maintenance/Vendor Manager, Mike Punzenberger–Store Manager, and District Manager Sue Goettl worked late into the evening preparing the opening of our newest store on July 19.
Please join me in welcoming the Lake Wissota Travel Stop to the Mega! family by stopping in to say “Hi” to Mike and the team at 17255 County Hwy X, Chippewa Falls, WI.
Thank you for making our stores your first choice – we will continue to strive to make Mega! CO-OP the best place to shop!
