Mega! CO-OP’s Scholarships are awarded to eligible CO-OP Members and their dependent children (age 26 or under) who are seeking post-secondary education. Each scholarship is $500- our goal is to award five (5) scholarships. The program is funded through the generosity of Mega! CO-OP and is subject to review each year.
Application Process:
The Mega! CO-OP Scholarship Application is open November 4-February 3:
Scholarship applications will be accepted on or before November 4th, 2019. All interested applicants must complete the Mega! CO-OP Scholarship Application and mail it with supporting documents to Mega! CO-OP HR Department postmarked no later than February 3rd, 2020. Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information. It is important to answer all questions as completely as possible. All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only by the Mega CO-OP Scholarship Committee.
Mega! CO-OP Scholarship Application
Scholarship recipients are selected after a careful review of the eligibility and application materials for each applicant. Mega! CO-OP will notify selected recipients by February 14th, 2020.
Recipients will receive their checks at the Annual Mega! CO-OP Stock holder Meeting on March 5th, 2020. Mega! CO-OP reserves the right to release the names of selected recipients in media releases (electronic and paper).
Eligibility:
Applicant or parent/legal guardian of applicant must be a Mega! CO-OP member have met the minimum spending requirement of $500 within the previous fiscal year and be an active Mega! CO-OP member at time of award.
Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate, or college undergraduate, who is enrolled or who will be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited public or private two or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the United States.
Scholarships are non-renewable. However, an applicant can re-apply each year if they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
